Some awesomeness for your Friday. This piece of work entitled Holy Water from Terri Mitchell for Subtext’s Release the Kraken! show opening on Friday, August 12th in celebration of Subtext’s fifth anniversary.
We collected 34 vintage aquatic paintings over the last year from all over the country, and then gave them to artists to “embellish” them with sea creatures and beasts alike.
Hmm… sea creatures and aquatic beasts — there might even be a lamb-fish in the mix.
