uragu

Was turned on to this artisan Japanese paper maker Uragu at the aforementioned Calligrane (I’d recommend using Google Chrome’s built in translator to look at either of these pages). Beautifully made and crafted papers, envelopes and booklets. One of my favorites was this “book” of tiny envelopes. The envelopes are bound with a red wax, and you simply pull one off as needed. Ideas started swimming around as soon as I saw these… How cool would it be to put a business card in a tiny envelope like this! Those Moo Mini cards fit perfectly in these… It’s amazing that I go all the way to France to find Japanese inspiration.
